A little Nacht Musik-verein

We were honored to represent Emory University in Vienna at the famed Musikverein last fall.  Our program included works by Beethoven and Mendelssohn as well as Chinese composer Zhou Long and Atlanta native, composer David Garner.  We loved exploring a new city and performing in such a historic hall!  We also got to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with the American ambassador to Austria. And we can't forget the fantastic pastries....

Town of 100 Seeks String Quartet

Last spring we had our first (soon-to-be-repeated) trip to Alaska. We fell in love with both the state's natural beauty and the warmth of the people we encountered. We promise, we played concerts, but we also went whale watching, visited a glacier and flew in a seaplane! A trip highlight? Catching our dinner off of our host's back porch!

Oh the Places You'll Go...

As a traveling string quartet we are often on the move, traveling by plane, train and automobile (and even sometimes SEAplane!) to places new and old. We thought we would share a small sampling of the places we have been over the last few years, especially since the most memorable moments for us can sometimes be what happens OFF stage. We hope you enjoy this peek into our lives, and we look forward to sharing more with you!

Cheers,

Elizabeth, Jessica, Yinzi and Guang
