Dr. Stephen A. Crist, Emory professor of Music History, opens the ECMSA “Beethoven 2020” series with a lecture about the great composer and his enduring legacy. The Vega Quartet provides live musical examples.

This event is presented by the Emory Chamber Music Society of Atlanta and is free of charge. The lecture will be presented in Tharp Rehearsal Hall, located in the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts - please take the entrance that faces campus, NOT the entrance leading to the box office of Emerson Hall overlooking North Decatur Road.
